The peoples of the world!
We have come together,
Each in our own separate place,
To the same place.

Our common walk,
Our common stand,
Are the vast commons,
That shall not be bought,
That shall not be sold,
That shall not be enclosed.

I saw you,
I saw your signs,
Whatever they say,
They are the signs of the times,
The times they are a-changing again.

I applaud you,
I admire you,
I smile at you,
Across space,
Across time,
Across impenetrable barriers.

In your spectacular face,
I saw you strain
Against the gauntlet
They have thrown,
From on High,
At the world.
I saw you,
You, the pain
Of our delivery,
Of our birth.

We have been born!
So that they
Shall not be born again,
From among us,
To lie to us again,
To tread on us again,
To despise us again,
To make us kill us again,
To pretend we are not.

We are the people of this earth,
They fancy themselves the masters of some universe.
They are the few,
We are the multitude.

We see.
We see us.
We are.
